The Dart

an 8ft and 9ft version are planned.

Based on a 1930's English taper the Dart is available in either a four or five weight and is a surprising powerhouse capable of handling long lines and large fish while retaining the refinement required to present small flies to difficult fish at any range. Many people are amazed at how much line this rod can handle, outcasting some 9ft carbon rods with ease at any range.

This is the rod I use for all my trout fishing on the lower Dart where longer lines are required to reach difficult fish. Would be equally at home on the chalk streams of south England and the upper River Warfe of Yorkshire.

The Cherrybrook.

This little rod is based on the slow actioned "Payne 97"
and is perfectly suited to fishing small streams and brooks where wild trout provide challenging fishing.

The tip of this rod is delicate enough to make small fish fun, protect light tippets and yet handle a bigger fish when it turns up.

This rod has taken every fish I have caught on the upper reaches of the West Dart over the last two years. Great fun to use and and a nice all-rounder

I have three more rods in development which will be available as soon as trials are complete and I am happy with the tapers. I will not sell a rod I am not willing to fish with myself, it would be a nonsense to do otherwise.
